#EndSARS: Chairman Isokan LGA Honourable Akeem Oladeni Badiru condemns attack on Osun governor

The Chairman of Isokan local government Honourable Akeem Oladeni Badiru, has condemned the Saturday’s attack on the Governor of Osun State, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola by some suspected#EndSARS protesters in Osogbo.

The chairman described the attack as a barbaric act, which is condemnable.

Honourable Akeem Oladeni Badiru said the genuine movement was already being hijacked by politicians to visit their frustrations on perceived opponents.

Undoubtedly, the #EndSARS movement had had a popular and receptive attitude to it by majority of people in Osun state, including policy makers, who have seen in it, an opportunity to deepen concern and redirect efforts towards good reforms with the aim of achieving positive results and therfore caution must be taken by the protesters so has not to be used to achieve another aim.

He condemned the attack and also call on the security personnel in Osun state to fish out the suspected hoodlums who are using the opportunity to attack individuals.
